Alvah T. Meyer (July 18, 1888 – December 19, 1939) was an American athlete who competed mainly in the 100 metres. He was Jewish,[1] and was one of a number of Jewish members of the Irish American Athletic Club, which also included Abel Kiviat and Myer Prinstein.

He was born in New York City and died in Tucson, Arizona.

In 1914 he set a world record at 60 yards, and in 1915 he set a world record at 300 yards.[2]

Meyer competed for the United States in the 1912 Summer Olympics held in Stockholm, Sweden in the 100 metres where he won the silver medal. He also participated in the 200 metres event but was eliminated in the semi-finals.
